Meeting room requirements for the library in Tulsa.

Please note the following:

Eligibility
Law abiding organizations of an educational, civic, cultural, professional or religious nature may book rooms. Meetings held in libraries are open to the public. Groups using meeting rooms are expected to have a copy of their agreement with the library on file at the location where they have booked a meeting room. See Appendix.

 

1. ASK FOR A COPY OF THE AGREEMENT

Any public announcements or advertisements, citing a library as the meeting place, must be approved in the Executive Offices.

2. YOU WANT A COPY OF THE APPROVAL (ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE TELEPHONE)

 

3. Meetings cannot be used for the purpose of commercial enterprises.

THE MEXICAN CONSULATE RECEIVES FUNDS FOR SERVICES RENDERED I.E. FEES ARE COLLECTED FOR CONSULAR CARD, BIRTH CERTIFICATES, ETC.

11-31-101.

§11-31-101.

A municipal governing body may establish and maintain a public

library for the use and benefit of the citizens of the municipality.

The governing body may establish branch libraries in different parts

of the municipality to accommodate the citizens of the municipality.

After the establishment of a municipal public library, the municipal

governing body shall include an item in its municipal financial

statement and estimate of needs for the following fiscal year to

maintain the public library.
